Marge and Charles Dushek Family discovered Smile Train in 2014 and They Opened Our Eyes and Hearts to funding up to 4 children per year to receive corrective surgery to Cure a Child's Mouth & Lip Clefts in developing country clinics.

Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft-focused organization, with a sustainable and local model of supporting surgery and other forms of essential care. Over the last 20+ years, they have supported safe and quality cleft care for 1.5+ million children and their mission is to continue to do so until every child in need with a cleft has access to the care they deserve.




 

 

It is not just the Facial Deformities. Clefts impeded child breast feeding, cause chronic open-mouth breathing leaving nasal passages under-used.
